A VSAT expert, relocated

The Challenge: To find an experienced Satellite Hub Engineer with VSAT network design experience who has previous experience of delivering communication services to the maritime industry. An added difficulty of needing to relocate an individual from Europe as the talent does not exist locally.

Our Solution: Utilising our industry knowledge and strong network of talented engineers within this niche skill set, we were able to create a map of the market and all competitors who would have individuals with the relevant skills and expertise in order to proactively headhunt the relevant people for our client.

The Outcome: We were able to source, qualify and close an extremely talented individual in a matter of weeks, who had not only the right background but was also open and willing to relocate. We were able to support both the client and the candidate through the logistics of relocation, including further assistance to help remotely onboard them during the coronavirus pandemic.
