Cloud Security specialist, in Space
The challenge: Our client, a global Telco launching a fleet of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites, needed a senior Cloud Security expert to steer the development of their AWS Cloud platform. It was a complex and senior role within a global team (inc. software teams in India and operations in the US) and a true DevOps environment. Thus far – despite enlisting the help of several recruitment agencies – our client was two months into the search and yet to interview a suitable candidate.
Our solution: Working closely with the Head of Security Architecture we identified an (almost!) manageable list of eight core requirements. We conducted a long exhaustive search, extremely persuasive outreach, and video interviewing process – ensuring no more client time was wasted with unsuitable profiles.
The outcome: All six candidates we submitted were interviewed as part of a four-stage interview process, with two progressing to the final rounds. Ultimately, they were able to find someone who matched not only the core technical requirements – though also fit perfectly with the company culture.
